The “Race of the Day Award” goes to four boys in the Orange Crush senior Boys race.  With the wide open finish over the last 300m at the Orange Crush course, the crowd was treated to a ferocious stride-for-stride race as Patrick Jorgensen (Christian Brothers, Memphis) slipped into 10th at the very last nano-second in 17:32 to nip Denton Bowles (Atkins, 17:33), Josh Parkey (Jonesboro, 17:33) and Mitchell Holland (Heber Springs, 17:24).  This finish was a fine showing of what a cross country finish is suppose to look like.
